ABOUT
Glenamaddy GAA club was founded in 1888, and since then has grown to have an historic past with excellent players and volunteers alike. “A history of Glenamaddy GAA”, written by Frank Fox, details the legacy of times gone by with fantastic insights to the teams and people involved.
Currently we have over 500 adult and juvenile members at the club, as we are proud to share our underage structure with Northern Gaels. This is an amalgamation of Glenamaddy, Glinsk and Williamstown to allow children the best chance to enjoy the football they deserve and lead a healthy lifestyle. Northern Gaels has been a wonderful success since its founding in 2018.
This facility will also be shared with Glenamaddy/ Williamstown Ladies Gaelic Football Club, who have a membership of over 200. We enjoy a great relationship with the ladies club and they are a beating heart of enthusiasm ahead of our development plans, as we want this to be a shared facility for all.
